We consider ourselves a responsible business. Responsible in the way we look after our clients. Responsible in the way we conduct ourselves. Responsible in the way we look after our people.  We also understand our role in our local community, the industries in which we work and in society as a whole. By behaving responsibly, respectfully and with integrity, we hope that we can have a positive impact on all those who interact with the firm.

Below is a brief outline of our Corporate Responsibility activity.

Our industries

We are proud of the role that we play in the industries and sectors in which we work.  Over the years we have become associated with a variety of bodies that support the creative industries.  Here is a snapshot of our current activity in this area.


We have strong relationships with the following educational organisations and support them in a variety of ways including delivering elements of the courses, mentoring and supporting the development of the programming.


Music Managers Forum

Lee & Thompson is proud to be an Associate of the Music Managers Forum (MMF), the largest representative body of artist management in the world, which exists as a lobbying organisation to further the interests of music business managers and the artists they represent. Andrew Thompson played a significant role in the creation of the MMF in 1987 and Lee & Thompson has provided legal advice to it on a pro bono basis ever since. In 2003 both Robert Lee and Andrew Thompson were inducted into the prestigious MMF Roll of Honour and were recipients of the MMF Founders Award.

The Association of Independent Festivals

Lee & Thompson is proud to be a “friend” of The Association of Independent Festivals, a non-profit trade association created to represent UK independent music festivals. The aim is to help the businesses of AIF’s individual members, and help the needs of the independent festival sector.

Charity of the Year

Further to a firm-wide vote, we are delighted that Evelina London Children's Hospital has been selected as the firm's Charity of the Year 2015/16.
