This IDAHOBLIT, we are delighted to announce that Lee & Thompson has been appointed as the newest member of WaveLGBT – the cross-industry LGBTQ+ networking organisation.

We are proud to represent the legal industry, alongside representatives from other key industries: insurance (AIG); accounting (Deloitte); retail banking (Monzo); investment banking (BNY Mellon); and technology (Google).

WaveLGBT is committed to building a community for LGBTQ+ individuals across industries to share thoughts and experience, inspire change and progress their careers, with pride.  With a membership of over 1,500 people across a wide range of industries, the organisation offers a variety of initiatives, events, resources and opportunities to engage.  It also provides a robust professional and personal mentoring platform for all members.

We are particularly pleased to make this announcement on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Lesbophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBLIT). This year’s theme is “No one left behind: equality, freedom and justice for all”, and we look forward to working closely with our fellow member organisations in the WaveLGBT network to bring about positive change and work towards making the legal industry more inclusive and accessible.
