Lee & Thompson hosts marketing law workshop for Alliance of Independent Agencies

Yesterday, we welcomed delegates from the Alliance of Independent Agencies‘ ‘Diploma In Integrated Marketing’ for an afternoon on “Keeping It Legal” delivered by our partner Dominic Bray.  In an interactive session, sixteen marketing agency account managers/directors and creatives learnt the fundamentals of the CAP and BCAP marketing codes, sales promotions rules, influencer marketing, copyright and trade mark law, and agency/client contracts.

The Alliance’s 12-part Diploma offers an insight into what it takes to be an outstanding marketing and advertising agency person.  Delegates are early-stage marketing and advertising account handlers, planners, creatives and project managers; this year the cohort included representatives from Blue Chip, Cirkle, Ignis, RPM, Savvy, Scott Lawrence, Taste PR, TMSW and Zeal Creative. We were delighted to host an informal networking evening after the session.
