Lee & Thompson raises over £11k for Campaign Against Living Miserably

1st April 2025

L&T is delighted to have surpassed its £10k fundraising target for our Charity of the Year 2024/2025, suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), raising a total of £11,671 over the past year.

Members of L&T’s Charity Committee planned a mixture of new office-based fundraising concepts for staff, such as Christmas bauble making, Olympics Mini Games and Movember, in addition to favourites such as rooftop ice-cream sales, bake-off competitions, Pancake Day celebrations, our annual Walk for Walker, raffles, tombola and sport/media virtual sweepstakes – always seeking to bring the firm together to raise money and awareness for this important cause.

Our Managing Partner Reno Antoniades completed an impressive 96 miles (153 km) trek along Scotland’s West Highland Way in support of Campaign Against Living Miserably, and extraordinary half marathon runners Henrietta Cabey and Lucy Pether respectively completed Newcastle’s Great North Run and the Ealing Half.

Campaign Against Living Miserably is a mental health charity with a special focus on standing against suicide through the delivery of life-saving services such as helplines and webchats, national campaigns and building communities.

It has been a pleasure to raise funds for this incredible charity – we thank each person who supported this memorable year of fundraising. Do watch this space for details about which nominated charity has received the most votes for our next Charity of the Year fundraising campaign.
