Lee & Thompson is delighted to have advised Mexican production services outfit The Lift on its first international investment in Emily Morgan’s Quiddity Films.

The Lift’s financial backing has formed a strategic partnership that supports the development of UK-based Quiddity’s future productions and amplifies the voice of Mexican storytellers internationally. Mexico-based The Lift’s original content arm The Lift Films co-produced Sebastián Silva’s Rotting In The Sun with Hidden Content and Robert Pattinson’s Icki Eneo Arlo; the latter premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Advising The Lift on the corporate side was Partner Lucy Strauss and Associate Amy Gyngell, alongside Partner Sam Tatton-Brown and Trainee Neha Tarabadkar on finance and Associate Neha Solanki on employment matters.
