We were delighted to host The Writers Lab UK & Ireland inaugural Global Screen Creators Summit earlier this autumn. The exciting event was designed as a development and marketplace programme for women and non-binary screenwriters aged over 40 years old.

The summit featured a dynamic series of panels and networking sessions aimed at fostering creativity and empowering diverse voices in the screen industry, with conversations ranging from screenwriting, financing, AI and comedy.

L&T Partner Nicki Parfitt also hosted a panel on TV and film financing discussing what is getting commissioned, sustainability and the future, with speakers Katherine Butler of Sky TV Drama, David Kimbangi of Film4 Commissioning, David P. Davis of 5 Acts Productions, Maartje Horchner of All3Media International and Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor of Joi Productions.
