This month, L&T was invited to speak at two specialist workshops for screen producers from across Europe to share our expertise on two key topics: TV series development and production financing.

Film & TV Partners Reno Antoniades and Antony Swiatek were in Madrid to speak at ACE Producers’ “Series Special” workshop, a session tailored to experienced producers wanting to integrate a series division into their production companies. The select 18 producers left the workshop with a deeper knowledge of developing and producing TV drama series for an international audience.

Film & TV Partner Christos Michaels joined a group of producers in Warsaw to participate in ACE Producers’ “Financing Strategies” workshop. A cross-section of producers explored financing opportunities and strategies through detailed discussions around their finance plans for proposed projects. The workshop was attended by a wide range of industry experts, banks, regional funders, state financiers, sales agents and distributors.

Christos commented: “The producer cohort was very impressive and I found it incredibly informative. It was also quite an early Christmas scene with a snowy Warsaw.”
