Film & TV Associates Chloe Hutchings and Josh Jacobson headed to the annual Kingston International Film Festival (KIFF) last week to deliver a workshop on the must-know legal considerations around film closings.  

KIFF aims to bring the film community together along with industry professionals from all over the globe for three days of screenings, workshops and events. 

Pitched at the lower budget end for slightly less experienced filmmakers, our workshop was one of four presented over the weekend. 

Chloe and Josh talked through the process of a film closing, highlighting the key legal documents and the pitfalls to avoid in producing, financing and distributing film projects.
