Harriet Hudson - Paralegal, Corporate & Commercial

 

Harriet is a Paralegal in Lee & Thompson’s Corporate & Commercial department, working principally on Employment and Immigrations matters, having joined in 2024 after completing our Vacation Scheme the previous year.

Harriet brings experience in media law from privacy and reputation management firm, Taylor Hampton Solicitors, where she held a paralegal role. This firm represented claimants in phone-hacking litigation and Harriet took a key role in trial preparation in the 2023 Duke of Sussex & Ors v. Mirror Group Newspapers trial.

Harriet read Law at the University of Leeds where she obtained a first-class honours in 2022. During her time at university, Harriet worked as a legal adviser at a local Legal Advice Clinic and reached the final stage of the School of Law’s debating competition, debating complex legal issues pertaining to human rights and media law. Harriet also completed pro-bono legal work at university, contributing legal perspectives to published reports and presented lectures to school pupils on media and privacy law.

Outside of work, Harriet enjoys travelling, hiking, running, boxing and attending music events. She is also interested in fashion, often crocheting and making clothes.
