Lois Child - Associate, Digital & Tech

Lois is an Associate in Lee & Thompson’s Digital & Tech Group, specialising in interactive entertainment. Lois advises on issues across the videogames sector such as games development and publishing, global distribution, intellectual property (IP) compliance and licensing, brand strategies, investment and acquisitions. She is also an Ambassador for Women in Games.

Before joining Lee & Thompson in 2024, Lois was a Legal Counsel at advertising agency VCCP where she negotiated commercial contracts and managed IP considerations in creative campaigns.

Lois read English Literature at the University of Exeter before completing the GDL and LPC at the University of Law in London. She trained at Brown Rudnick LLP.

Outside of her role, Lois is a member of The Law Society’s Disabled Lawyer’s Network and the Association of Disabled Lawyers. Additionally, she sits on two IP Inclusive committees, IP Ability and IP Futures. She is also an avid player of video games and RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons.
