Saher Amin - Trainee

Saher is a Trainee Solicitor at Lee & Thompson and assists across a broad range of matters spanning the creative industries.

She joined Lee & Thompson in 2023 as a paralegal in our Film & TV department where she assisted producers, sales agents, distributors and financiers on production-related matters, having completed our 2022 Vacation Scheme.

Saher completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) at University of Kent and her LPC at the University of Law, obtaining a Distinction in her Independent Research Essay on the topic of copyright in the Digital Single Market. She then completed a Master of Laws in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law whilst working at Open-Ended Design, an organisation that platforms and brings together those who work at the intersection of design, technology and social impact. Saher spent time as a legal researcher and commercial awareness content writer and gained paralegal experience in both London and Nairobi in Corporate, Commercial, IP, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Litigation departments.

Saher is also a Director of The Mohamed Amin Foundation in Nairobi, working to preserve a historic media archive and promote and educate African students, journalists and filmmakers.
