Theo Halpern - Paralegal, Corporate & Commercial

Theo is a Paralegal in Lee & Thompson’s Corporate & Commercial department, having joined in 2023 soon after completing our Vacation Scheme.

Whilst completing the LPC at the University of Law in Moorgate, Theo worked part-time as a Corporate & Commercial Paralegal at Outset Limited where he gained exposure to transactional and intellectual property-related matters.

Theo read History at King’s College London and subsequently completed an MSc at the London School of Economics and the GDL at the University of Law, earning a Distinction.

A strong background in music contributes to Theo’s passion for the creative industries and media law. Theo has produced music for almost a decade (most recently in lo-fi hip-hop and neo-soul genres); he has produced official remixes and co-produced collaborations and even released his material through record labels. Theo has DJ’ing experience at venues such as Fabric and Ministry of Sound, having held the role of President of the King’s College DJ Society where he coordinated events, networked with members of the professional music industry and tutored fellow students. As well as learning to play piano, Theo is a competent guitarist and has played in punk bands.
